iPhone for Sprint’s network is currently in advanced testing. Sorry, folks: we are still way too burned out from all the pre-release, back and forth rumor mongering that went with the iPhone Verizon to really weigh in on this one, so we just go over the details.Apple iPhone similarly tested against Verizon. Verizon cell towers on campus months before the release of the product.
The details:
- According to 9to5Mac’s source, a Sprint-friendly version of the iPhone (one closely resembling the iPhone 4) is in testing in the deepest depths of Apple HQ.
- Apple has thrown the same source, after the box office a few Sprint cell towers are set on and around the campus for testing
- All this is pretty much hand in hand with reports last month that Apple was the hunt for engineers .. cell in Kansas to be a coincidence, where Sprint is the main campus.
In addition to the actively tested in Apple’s “Black Labs”, which is making the round of Sprint research and development department. Sources also say that the speech along by a variant of the 4G iPhone for Sprint is moving, but the first generation iPhone Sprint, currently being tested is not feature support for 4G bands. In the past month has led to a job listing on Apple’s official site jobs that Apple is looking for a craft cellular engineering team in Kansas City.
